Professor Martin Corbally, Consultant Paediatric surgeon, and Operation Childlife Programme Director and founder, led a team of volunteers to Muhimbili National Hospital Dar es Salaam in late March.
Professor Corbally was joined by Dr Dhafir Al Khudhairi, Consultant Anaesthetist, and observers Dr Nicola Cullen, recipient of the OCL Travel Fellowship in partnership with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and students from RCSI Bahrain.
