A team of our wonderful Operation Childlife Volunteers visited Muhimbili Hospital to share their Paediatric ICU (PICU) expertise in October, OCL’s third visit for 2024.
We are very grateful to volunteers Dr Aisling Walsh, Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Laura Keogh, both from Temple Street in Dublin, for sharing their expertise.
During the visit, PICU simulation training (pictured), was part of the daily schedule.
We are also very grateful to the Emirates Airline Foundation who sponsored the flights of Dr Walsh and nurse Keogh.
