Operation Childlife (OCL) Programme Director, Professor Martin Corbally, spoke about the work of OCL at the “Rotary for Children” online event, held by the Rotary of Puglia e Basilicata on April 17, 2023.

The event programme also included Professor Fabio Bartoli, Operation Childlife volunteer and trainees under his supervision, Dr Vittoria Campanella and Dr Cosetta Maggipinto.  Dr Campanella and Dr Maggipinto were funded by the Rotary to join an Operation Childlife medical mission to Vietnam in November 2022 and spoke about their experiences.   Since that successful mission, Dr Vittoria Campanella has engaged in addition training with Operation Childlife, with a view to becoming an Operation Childlife volunteer facilitator of the Paediatric Acute Surgical Scenario Course (PASS)  training course.
